The challenge
The team worked without direction: with no clear objectives or defined deadlines, each developer did whatever they considered urgent. The result: constantly broken promises, zero predictability and credibility eroded sprint after sprint. Without agile methodologies or automation, every release was unpredictable. The CTO needed to align the team around objectives, professionalise processes and rebuild the business's trust.
The solution
We implemented an AI Center of Excellence focused on team transformation with Spec-Driven Development (SDD). We reorganised the structure with clear agile roles, introduced adapted Scrum, automated the development cycle with CI/CD, and integrated Claude Code as the main AI-assisted development tool alongside automated code review and AI testing. The SDD methodology brought control and predictability to the generated code. Continuous team training on new practices and tools.
